The objective of refurbishing the radiant panel heating system in the Duomo, originally installed in 1963, was to rationalize and optimize the overall performance of the system in terms of energy efficiency and comfort, thereby enabling a significant reduction in consumption. New floor circuits were installed and separated for different zones to allow for differentiated regulation across space and time.
